 Inspired by the fantastic childrens book 'Giraffes Can't Dance!' by Giles Andeae. This story gave the children lots of opportunities to explore different styles of dances and music from Rock n'roll to StreetDancing, Ska to Folk! In the mornings the group helped to create their own animal masks and costumes but we got the chance to put on our dancing shoes in the afternoons. Incorporating lots of the childrens moves and ideas the small groups of animals put together dances to songs by T-Rex, The Beach Boys, Madness and Will Smith to name a few. They also learnt a short script based on the story of the book. They showed that " We all can Dance When we Find The Music That We Love!".
